BPSF Scholarship Application Now Open

Hello Seniors and Parents/Guardians of Seniors:

The Brainerd Public Schools Foundation is excited to announce that our 2025/26 General BPSF Scholarship application is now open! Any student graduating from Brainerd Public Schools in the spring of 2026 are eligible to apply!

Students fill out just one general application and will be in the running for over 100 different BPSF scholarship awards. Each BPSF hosted scholarship description is listed in our online platform, Academic Works. Once the application cycle closes, our review crew gets to work. Each application is reviewed and scored as part of a blind review process. The reviewers do NOT have access to the student’s personal information. (name, address, email, etc) The reviewers score the applications based on a pre-determined rubric. Points are also awarded for participation in extracurriculars, volunteerism, work experience, GPA, intensive/AP type courses, athletics, music, detailed essays and more! Students who are more well-rounded tend to score higher. Each scholarship offering has its own criteria - determined by the donor. DEADLINE TO APPLY IS 3/17/2026.
